The WSMB’s collection consists of equipment (like radios, televisions, microphones, speakers and miscellaneous broadcasting hardware); photographs, correspondence and files; postcards, pamphlets, newsletters, magazines, newspapers, books, posters and similar literature; recordings of radio and television programs; popular culture items that reflect the significance of radio and television (such as sheet music, records and games) and various promotional items (called premiums) which the sponsors of radio and television programs once sent out on request to listeners/viewers.  The following links provide a small sample of items from the WSMB’s collection in many of these artifact categories.
